Katrinka is a multi-disciplinary artist visual artist who works with drawing, paint, assemblage and text, it includes exhibitions, published work, commissions, work in the public realm, fabricating objects and installation.

Particularly interested in things unnoticed, she hopes to draw attention to and celebrate aspects of our lives devalued in our industrialised and commerce centric world. This focus is expressed in the pieces and their themes and subjects, in drawing with people in public spaces to call attention to their relationship with the surrounding environment and in both fictional and theoretical writing.

Katrinka is increasingly interested in the idea of the unseen to include things ignored, discarded, and taboo; in finding the pathos and beauty in small beings, buried structures, hidden feelings and the barely there.
